Katy graduated with Honours from the University of Sheffield in 2007. Following her vocational training in a general NHS practice, she pursued her passion for oral surgery by securing a Senior House Officer role in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Manchester Royal Infirmary, where she worked for 18 months. During her time at the hospital, Katy honed a wide range of medical and dental skills, significantly expanding her surgical expertise. She also earned the prestigious post-graduate qualification, Membership of the Faculty of Surgeons in Edinburgh.
Afterward, Katy took on a part-time Staff Grade position in Oral Surgery at Salford Royal, where she further refined her skills in dental extractions, surgical procedures, biopsies, intravenous sedation, and treatments under general anaesthetic. Alongside this role, she continued to develop her dentistry skills by working as an associate in general practice. Her dedication to combining both surgical and restorative dentistry led her to complete a comprehensive year-long multi-system dental implantology course at Trafford General.
Katy’s key areas of interest are oral surgery, dental implantology, dental sedation, and restorative dentistry.
Known for her dedication and compassion, Katy is committed to ensuring that all patients have a comfortable and positive experience. She takes pride in helping patients feel at ease during treatment, working closely with them to overcome any anxieties or concerns.
